Kitchenware utensils karahi or kadhai is the Indian version of a Wok. It is a round deep pan made of heavy metal, with handles on both sides. The particular Indian tableware shown here is more suitable for serving dishes rather than for cooking. Double metal sheets, stainless steel on the inside and copper on the outside with air cushion in between, enables food to remain hot for longer when served on the dining table. These wok pans are great for serving Indian dry dishes, vegetarian or non vegetarian, as their depth can contain otherimage4r quantities of gravy. In the karahi serving pan shown above, you can serve dry dishes for 3 to 4 persons at any time besides giving a very authentic look and feel of traditional Indian dining.

Use copper cleaners available in the market to retain shiny finish. Do not put copper utensils in dishwashers as acids contained in the soap may tarnish the copper ware permanently.
